Position summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our team at Buster Fetcher. This is a remote position for a 6-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment. We are looking for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and performs well both in terms of speed and quality. As a Developer, you will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with our company's processes, ensuring data security, developing and maintaining high-quality code, collaborating with the development team and clients, and continuously learning and adapting to meet the needs of our web applications. - Develop and maintain structured and reusable code, following industry best practices and standards.
- Ensure the security and protection of data by implementing appropriate security measures.
- Collaborate with the development team, clients, and employees to create cohesive web applications that meet their needs.
- Master programming languages used, such as Node.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, React, etc.
- Continuously learn and stay up to date on advances and best practices in programming.
- Debug and resolve issues promptly, prioritizing based on urgency.
Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance functionality and user experience. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and application performance.
- Document features, additions, or modifications made to ensure effective utilization of the application by other employees.
- Attend daily team meetings and actively participate in discussions.
- Strong commitment to data accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, React, etc.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Solid understanding of data security principles and best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and employee needs.
- Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated on industry advancements.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality, reusable code.
- Experience integrating APIs and third-party services.
- Familiarity with analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization.
Education and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in web application development and programming.
- Experience with Node.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, React, etc., or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems.

- This is a remote position that requires working with a computer and other standard office equipment.
